Materials of Honed Tubes

Hydraulic Cylinder Honed tube usage is widespread in the manufacturing of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, with various materials being necessary for different applications. Typically, honed tubes are made from aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Specifically, carbon steel and stainless steel are used for hydraulic cylinder tubes, whereas aluminum is commonly used for pneumatic cylinder tubes.
